Taken yesterday evening at Blackpool, I wanted to show the movement of the Starlings as they swarmed above North Pier before roosting. A very short long exposure was used to capture the movement as I faced Blackpool Tower.

It’s been a quiet end of the year for me on the photography front, not enough daylight hours in the day! Enjoyed another year on my photography journey however. My first ever exhibition @teaamantes, prints in national papers, award successes, meeting great people, photography interviews with @hyhotels, to name a few of my highlights. Thank you to anyone who has liked, shared or interacted with my images throughout the year, you are the fuel to keep going and it is much appreciated. On to 2026, where I want to make it my mission to get out more and see what photography adventures lie ahead. Happy new year everyone!
