Fire sky over Lytham Windmill

Lytham Windmill Sunset

I looked out of my window at home and thought the clouds looked promising prior to sunset, so I grabbed my gear and went to the neighbouring town of Lytham – it didn’t disappoint!

When I arrived I met fellow local photographer Mark McNeil. We caught up and I started taking some long exposure shots. The colours started to intensify and before I knew it it had turned in to a true fire sky. By the side of the road is a puddle that I have used before to create some interesting reflections shots. So I got down low and fired off some shots, the results from the evening are shown here.
